How do I convert a bank statement to Excel?

Can I convert a PDF bank statement to CSV?

Yes. After preview, choose CSV export for structured rows you can open in sheets, databases, or accounting tools.

Does this work with text-based bank statement PDFs?

Yes. Text-based checking and savings PDFs work best in this free beta. If you can select text in a PDF viewer, it is usually text-based.

Are uploaded bank statements stored?

The original PDF is deleted after processing. We only keep anonymous technical metrics — not full transactions or account numbers.

Can I convert scanned bank statements?

Not in this beta. Scanned or image-only PDFs are unsupported. Use a text-based statement PDF instead.

How does balance verification work?

When opening and closing balances are available, we check Opening Balance + Credits − Debits = Closing Balance. You will see “Balance verified” or “Balance could not be verified” before export.
